Medical and Health
Until recently all the focus has been on the most prevalent acitive ingredient in marijuana THC. Although THC is a great pain reliever, the second most prevalent active ingredient CBD is an essential medical component.
CBD is derived HEMP which is simply a low THC version of Marijuana.
Because Marijuana and THC have been on schedule 1 it has been illegal to have clinical studies. Much of the evidence we have now is anecdotal. The following is a recent message we received from one of our clients.
The Sour Tanngie from OM Extracts has kept the inflammation and pain away, so we stopped taking those injections since she doesn’t think they work very well and the Tangie takes all the pain away. The injections would raise her sugar and that was another thing they would complain about was her A1C. So she is on her last Tangie and it is working GREAT for her. They told me when I brought her home from the hospital, she probably wouldn’t be able to get out of bed other than the bathroom and to eat… she is showering, cooking some, doing dishes, laundry and going places with me. I truly believe that is due to you!!
CBD comes in many forms paired with and without THC. many believe even small amounts of THC increases the benefits of the CBD. Early studies and anecdotal evidance suggests that CBD is a benifical treatment for
- Anxiety. Many new studies are exploring CBDs ability to fight anxiety.
- Insomnia. Studies suggest that CBD may help with both falling asleep and staying asleep.
- Chronic pain. Further human studies are needed to substantiate claims that CBD helps control pain. One animal study from the European Journal of Pain suggests CBD could help lower pain and inflammation due to arthritis when applied to skin. Other research identifies how CBD may inhibit inflammatory and neuropathic pain, which are difficult treat.
- Addiction. CBD can help lower cravings for tobacco and heroin under certain conditions, according to some research in humans. Animal models of addiction suggest it may also help lessen cravings for alcohol, cannabis, opiates, and stimulants.
Some reports show side effects of CBD include fatigue, nausea and irritability. CBD has shown increased levels of blood thinning and other medicines in your blood by competing for the liver enzymes that break down these drugs. Grapefruit has a similar effect with certain medicines.
CBD can be consumed in many forms.
- Rick Simpson Oil
- FECO Oil
- Tinctures
- Edibles
- Concentrates
- Drinks
You fill find CBD marketed in many forms. I have recently seen a CBD infused sports bra. It is important to purchase your CBD in whatever form from a tested source. There are many products out there with little to no usable CBD.
